How should I take this apart?

I recently got my derailleur cage really twisted. I've trying to remove it and have ordered a new cage from my LBS, but I'm so confused as how to unscrew the part of the cage that connects to the rest of my derailleur! How should I go about taking this part off?

On mine, albeit mine is a little older, the cage comes off the derailleur with the lower hex bolt (mine is a 5 or 6mm). Just loosen in right out, and the cage comes off. It is hard to tell from your picture, however, it should only be one bolt, because it still needs to pivot at that point.

There may be a 3-4mm hole perpendicular to the 5/6mm bolt in the example above. If so there is probably a 2-3mm hex inside. That removes a long rod which holds the cage in. Part # 9 in this diagram:
