Rear Cassette Catching

My rear cassette is getting pulled forward with the wheel spin when I'm coasting. So when I reengage the crankset, I'm getting a clank sound as my chain unslacks. What is wrong with the rear hub? Is it just a lack of grease somewhere or are the brearings shot? Is this actually slowing me down?

sound like you got some dirt in there and it need to be flush out. put in some WD-40 and replace with some oil. if this doesn't work then replace the freehub.
