Does anyone know what size of bottom bracket an Orbea Starship Carbon frame will use for a dual Campy crank? I think I have a good deal on one, but I'm not usre it's the right size. Thanks, David

my guess would be 68 X 102-English threading being more common than the 70x102 Italian thread. I know that the 102 is right for 8,9 and 10 speed double cranks on Chorus and Record. If you have one of the lower tier grouppos (Centaur, Daytona, Veloce, Mirage, Athena, Xenon), then the proper size would be 68 X 111. A Record or Chorus triple is 68 (or 70) X 111 and a lower end triple is 68 (or 70) X 115. Remember also that the square taper on Campy BBs and cranks is diferent than on other brands, so they are NOT interchangeable, unles you get a Phil Wood BB with a Campy specific taper.

Look on the cups of your existing BB. If you see 1.37 x 24tpi, then it is definitely English threading. It will also have a reverse threaded adjustable cup (the left side). Italian threaded cups both turn clockwise.
