Saddle Repair.

1 Attachment(s)
Just wanted to express my Glee for reglueing my selle italia XO saddle. The sides were coming loose, and providing for a horrible look. Just a small amount of contact cement, 15 min set time and careful folding and the saddle is like new. This gives me renewed hope of salvaging all of the saddles in similar condition lying around my basement.

Just thought I would share...

Phil

P.S. Here is a pic of the bike with said saddle, if you want to check out more pics/info I posted it on fixed gear forum pics area...

How old was the saddle when it needed gluing?

Nice ride. And jet powered after you left the Tamale place!

FWIW, here's a guy that recovers saddles, although not with leather. No first hand experience, but the price is right. I'm going to send him the Pave that I use on my commuter one of these times.
