Measuring for a new hub

im trying to outfit my old Schwinn Varsity with a flip flop hub and having trouble figuring out what size i need. i have measured from the inside of one drop out to the inside of the other one and got about 5 inches, equal to what i have found to be around 125 mm. did i measure right? any help would be great!

PS. the set up i am looking at getting are cr-18 rims and formula hubs, this will be my first fixed gear bike so i don't need the best but i intend to ride frequently and hard. im about 6' 2" and weigh about 165. does that set up seem reasonable?

thanks

Measure carefully. If it's 126mm then you should be fine. Just make sure your dropouts aren't unusually thick and the formula hub you're getting has enough axle left over for you to have it respaced to 126 and have the track nuts engaging all the threads on the axle.
