Silly seatpost clamp question

I've got a fixed gear/track frame that takes a 29.2mm seatpost and just stripped my dang clamp. What size clamp should I be looking for as a replacement?

:wtf:

probably a 31.2~31.4mm clamp

it's best if you have some calipers to measure the outside diameter where the clamp would go.

Thanks AEO. No caliper handy but according to my trusty little metric ruler, the outer diameter of my seatpost tube is somewhere between 31-32mm. I just wasn't sure what the commonly used size for clamps is, since I've never had to replace it on this particular bike until now! I've been doing Google searches and have found 31.8 a common size.

Be sure to use Tacx Carbon Assembly Compound or similar when you get the new clamp, regardless of whether or not it's actually carbon. Also be sure to use a torque wrench in the future.
