HELP!! Reparing/Dissassembling MAVIC COSMIC rear wheel...??

Hey guys/gals.

I have a mavic cosmic rear wheel that looked to have been repaired.
I was trying to true the wheel and after a test ride, one of the spokes was waaaaaay loose. I thought that I had broken it at the nipple and it just broke free.

After unmounting the tire, I found that the spoke + nipple were just fine and that the nipple + spoke had broken the RIM?! the rim was blown apart at the spoke hole.

With the COSMIC having a fairing mounted to what ppl have assessed is an OPEN PRO rim, is it possible to remove the aero fairing and rebuild the wheel on an OPEN pro 32 spoke and alternate spokes?

I'm pretty sure Cosmic Carbons had 18 spokes up front and 20 in back.
You need to buy a new Cosmic rim from a Mavic dealer.

I'd return it. I wouldn't trust a wheel that somehow became "blown apart" at it's spoke-eyelet. Or the rim thereof.
