A few hours ago I went to pick up a front rack I found on Craigslist. When I left I was carrying an old steel frame (ever tried that? Not fun.). It’s a Vista Alpine that I hope to turn into my girlfriend’s next bike. It’s totally stripped other than new bottom bracket, cranks, and bars. So now I get to come up with wheels, drivetrain, and clue.

Yes, I did. But it doesn’t work quite so well on my forks. I’ll hold onto it for a future bike, though.
