Which BB for Sugino "pipe" crankset

I have a line on one of these, but it doesn't have bottom bracket cups. Are these "pipe" bottom bracket spindles standard, i.e. can I use a Shimano BB cup set with it?

I doubt it. I believe that Shimano's and FSA's spindle diameters are different, the former being a larger diameter, so their cranksets and bottom brackets aren't compatible.

Have you yet tried contacting the vendor or the manufacturer about Shimano/Sugino compatibility?
