Help! How do I FIX PEELING PAINT (Lettering) on a vintage Bianchi?

The lettering on my very old Bianchi is peeling and I want to keep it intact. Is there some sort of easy fix it solution? Not sure what to do. The thought of applying a clear coat of nail polish over the letters occurred to me but I'm hoping there's a similar solution that wouldn't be as crude. Could I try to glue on the peeling parts?
