No frame prep required on Kestrel Evoke framesets?

I have a new 2007 Kestrel Evoke frameset that I am about to start building. The documentation I read at kestrelbicycles.com implies that no frame prep is required (e.g. no reaming/facing headtube or chasing/facing bottom bracket shell).

What say you BF mechanics?

btw - I'll be building it with the 2010 Force group and Ultegra chain/cassette.

The frame likely uses an integrated headset so all that prep should be done already. And considering that the BB shell is bonded into the frame, it should have been faced already during the machining process. I don't think you'll have any issues.

Most high line and custom frames are already "preped" by their manufacturer these days and should not need further work by the new owner. If you have alignment or binding problems when installing the fork or bottom bracket, they will need to be addressed but I expect there will be no problems.

The frame comes prepped,
go for it!
