ss freewheel threads?

Quick question: do all ss freewheels have the same threads, or do f/f hubs differ from bmx hubs? I want to put a Shimano bmx ss freewheel onto a Formula f/f hub.

Here's the deal - I bought a Shimano SF-MX30 BMX freewheel for a ss conversion project. I mounted it on a BullsEye hub, that previously had an Italian(?) 6-spd freewheel. At least I think it was Italian, everything else was. I want to remove it and restore the gears, and reuse the SF-MX30 on a Formula f/f hub.

standard freewheels are 34mm thread.
modern small BMX freewheels are 30mm.
so if its on there it will be 34mm.
although I think Itallians cut the threads at a different angle. so might be difficult to remove

Well... you're right- all freewheel threads are the same unless you're dealing with a small "metric" BMX freewheel. Otherwise all freewheel hubs- single-speed or multi-speed, are threaded 1.37" x 24 tpi. As far as I know, it's still measured in inches. Weird but true.

The Shimano freewheel worked with the Formula f/f hub. That Bullseye hub and freewheel must have standard threads. It was easy to remove from the old, and easy to remount on the new hub.

Except for French 34.7 mm X 25.4 tpi and Italian 35 mm X 24 tpi.
