What is this junk in my frame?
I took off my fork on my Giant Defy Advanced 3 (carbon) to clean off the bearings earlier and look in the head tube.. and theres this huge piece of duct tape in it. What the hell? It's a brand new bike, I'm the original owner, so it's obviously on giant. Grabbed my flash light and looked in more carefully. Theres a peice of green tape, and the whole inside of the frame is lined with some kind of clear paper like plastic. I assume the clear stuff is supposed to be there but what's with the other tape? It's sticking out, not flush with the wall of the frame.

Running on plenty
It's probably the mould breaker or forming they use to build the carbon tubes. Leave it alone, it wont hurt anything.
