Look Keo Installation--Something I'm missing???
I'm embarrassed to be posting this, but here goes. I'm trying to install a pair of new Keo Sprints on my road bike. They seem to have the same size threads as my other pedals, but for the life of me I can't get them to go on my crankset (FSA mega exo). I know the left is reverse threaded and that they install with an Allen key, but they just don't want to screw into the cranks. I thought maybe I had started threading the left pedal in the wrong way and maybe damaged the threads on the pedals or the cranks, but other pedals go in to the cranks easily and I tried the drive side pedal being very careful to go the right way and to not force it at all, but that pedal doesn't want to install either.
Am I missing something really obvious here? Has anyone had similar issues? I never thought I'd be posting about how to install a pedal.

All I can say is to look at the pedals and
see what direction the threads turn just to make sure your going the correct way...

Make sure you are correcty identifying the left and right pedal. Make sure you are turning them, both the left and right pedals, towards the front of the bike to screw them in. Oh, and put some grease on the threads before you start. That's it.

Thanks for your suggestions, everyone. I was turning the non-drive side correctly and with the Look Keo's, it's pretty obvious which is right and which is left.
The only thing I haven't done is try the Keo's on another bike. If they don't fit on it, I'll know something is fishy with the pedals. As I mentioned other pedals go into the FSA cranks with no issue.
I'll report on this later.

Make sure you aren't confusing yourself with which direction to turn the axle using the allen key on the inside of the axle. I just confused myself with my original reply and have now simplified it to hopefully make it more useful.
