How to install/use a chain tensioner?

Hi,

I bought a Surly Tuggnut Chain Tensioner but it did not come with instruction how to install it.

In youtube I only found someone use it as bottle opener. And no much luck in google either.

Can someone share the knowledge?

Thanks

Having never used one of those, I did find a site that may help you.

You should take it back to your LBS and get instructions. If they dont have directions I would ask them to install it for free. If they're not willing to work it out with you, which is a possibilty, you should take them to small claims court.

Thanks for the link froze. Very useful.

And thanks for your suggestion, Kerri, it is a mail order, it is not worth to mail it back and fight for a refund. But thanks anyway.

You really don't need instructions... just look at it:
