A little confused with regards to Bottom Brackets

OK, i need an issue cleared up, with standards to bicycles threads (for bottom brackets). I have checked "sheldon Brown" but i really did not get my answer..

Correct me if i'm wrong:

English/British/Euro: The standard MTB and road. And some BMX

Ashtabula/American: old school BMX

Mid: standard BMX

French-Swiss-Italian: extinct

So my question is wtf is this "spanish" style bottom bracket?

Secondly, by my this logic will a Euro BMX bottom bracket thread into a MTB bottom bracket shell?
