Did something dumb
So I was out on a 50 mile ride today. Started getting some front knee pain. So, raised my seat up, over tightened the bolt, and broke it. 25 miles standing up is not a good way to start the day. So, I need some advice on how to fix and where to get a replacement bolt.

You can buy Campy seat post binder bolts at Excel Sports https://www.excelsports.com/new.asp?p...jor=11&minor=8

You can also just go to your LBS since they may have one in stock. Take the old Campy bolt with you for comparison since those bolts come in a few different sizes from different brands.

Easy fix. Those vintage classic style seatlugs don't take much torque. Be happy you didn't crack the lug.

Thanks guys! One question. The right side broke. Should I attempt to take the left side out with a hex wrench? It seems like it is torqued in there good and I don't want to brake anything else.

Most likely the left side has teeth or a notch to keep it from spinning so don't try to unscrew it. Just knock it out with a screw or a punch etc. from the other side. It should come out fairly easy.
