Can carbon rim braking surfaces be re-surfaced?
When the braking strip on a full carbon rim wears down, can it be re-surfaced to increase the life of the rim??

I don't want to even think of the bad that could come with that idea.

The braking surface is just some kind of clear coat right? the brake pads don't actually contact the carbon surface of the rim, but the coating..correct?
So is there no way of just applying another few layers of whatever that clear coat is?
