SRAM V-Brake -- One Side Sticks

I'm having a problem with the front brake on my recumbent. It is a 2002 SRAM 9.0 V-brake. I recently had the wheel off for repair and the brake worked fine until then. Now the left side stays on the rim when the brake lever is released. I tried WD-40 on it with no results. When I disconnect the quick release for the noodles, both sides of the brake seem to move freely and spring back.

Thanks for any help
Mike

Make sure the pads haven't worn a lip on them. This will cause it to stick on the return swing.

Is the wheel centered in the fork?

Check the tension screw(s) in the arms, maybe one fell out. I had that happen sometime back to me.

Is the position of the noodle or the cable housing different now than before you removed the wheel?
