Vuelta Pista track crankset spec

Does anyone know whether this crankset used a 3/32 or 1/8 chain? And what size bottom bracket for a 42mm chainline? I am building a fixie (cheap) on a Performance Scattante SSR frame. The frame calls for a 68mm bb. They are selling this crankset cheap at Nashbar.

Nashbar's web site has a "Live Chat" link. Someone there should know the crank's specs.

Or contact Vuelta directly:

Email: sales@vueltausa.com

Their web site doesn't list that cranks but they certainly should know it's details.

And isn't it amazing that a bike-specific site like Nashbar often does not list crucial info about their products? Several times through the years I have resisted buying something at the last second simply because I was not sure what it was. Its like buying something from a poorly informed Ebay seller.

When in doubt, just get 1/8" chain as it will work with either 3/32" or 1/8" drivetrain components.

+1. And just as importantly for the fixie crowd, you can get 1/8" chains in a wide variety of festive colors for $10-$15.
