what grease do you use?
am I a nerd or what? I have run out of white campy grease...where can I find some more? is there anything else as good?
|
Synthetic wheel bearing (marine) grease... available at any automotive parts supplier for a fraction of the cost of any bike branded grease.

I'm still working from my stash of the Campy white grease. I have a few lifetimes supply so I can spare a few more tubes. If interested PM me. By the time I run out of my grease supply, I'll probably start making Chain-L grease.

Check the use by date on your grease.

Mobil 1

Finish Line's synthetic teflon stuff.

Just don't mix grease in the same bearing. Wipe away the old stuff good.
Man, we need a symbol. I keep suggesting DASWCT. Do A Search, Well Covered Topic. |
+1 for marine grease. Plus the Castrol stuff I use is blue, and looks kinda cool. :D
|
I use Mag-1 lithium grease, the kind in the foot-long cardboard tube.
|
I bought a tube of Phil's about 5 years ago and am still using it.
|
Trojan magnum lube.
