help with a problem on bike
hey everyone, just wondering if anyone could help me and tell me why my bike feels like it wants to pull it self to the side while riding it? please help!!!!
|
Try reseating the wheels and making sure they spin smoothly. Or a bent fork could cause this...run into any stationary objects recently?
|
How about some background information? What kind of bike? Like goatalope wonders, did this start after a recent incident? My out of the blue guess: you're riding no handed and perhaps your cable/housings are pulling the bars to one side?

Of course Sheldon Brown can be a big help for tricky ones like this:
http://www.sheldonbrown.com/home.html and heres another link: http://www.sheldonbrown.com/brandt/pull-side.html |
Is your favorite bar located on that side of the road? Or your ex-wife's house on the other? Either could explain it.

cheers ill try that :D

its a gt tempest 3.0, no accident just bought it from someone who hasnt done anything with it accepot ride to work, but i just re greased my hubs and i know for sure it aint the frame.
anyone can help please!!!! |
it could be the wheels are not centered on the frame. check to see that the space between the wheel and the chainstay is the same on both sides. do the same for the seatstay. then make sure the front wheel is centered in the fork.
|
thanks, is there a possible way t could be the headseat?
