Grinding sound

Hi,

My rear derailleur smallest 4 cogs seems to have a problem.

Background
I am using centaur 10speed, newer version. Whenever i change my gear to the smallest 4 cogs, no matter using big or small chainring, there will be a grinding sound. This happen no matter how i tune it.

Any idea how do i solve this problem?

Oh and the sound doesn't comes from the FD rub. The sound feels more like chain rubbing between the 4 small cogs.

I accept that it's chain noise, but need more info.

How old is the drivetrain? What do you use as a chain lube? Did the sound come on suddenly, maybe after you did something, or build up over time getting progressively worse?

The whole groupset is around 1 year. I uses the prolink gold lube. Sound was there all the while just that i seldom use those gear but recently i am getting annoyed by it. Groupset is a full centaur 2009. Chain comes with the groupset except that i used a wipperman master link on it.

Thanks in advance.
