Loosened Pedals?

I just got these Origin8 Track Pedals 1/2" from the UPS guy and opened the package in excitement.

Oh no. The left pedal barely spins on it's axle. When holding the threads and flicking the pedal, it's moves enough for my finger to pass then stops.

From what I understand (from looking at the forum), I need to open up the pedal and loosen it. So I did and it's real nice now.

But it felt like I had to brake some loctite. Should I be worried about the nut backing during use? ...should I re-loctite it?

Blue Locktite would probably be a good idea for both pedals.

If there is no way to tighten a jam nut or similar, then yes it would be advisable to loctite it.
