Medai Floor Pump Parts Source?

I have the same pump labeled as the Medai "Top" that I've had for over 20 years. Mine still works and I was able to find a replacement chuck insert about 10 years ago but I don't think I could now.
AFAIK, these have been out of production for many years and replacement/rebuild parts are difficult to impossible to find. Loose Screws has every part needed to rebuild any Silca pump but nothing for the Media. Maybe hunting around older bike shops will turn up something but even NOS inserts will be quite old and may not work well.
One way to get more use out of the pump would be to fit a modern replacement chuck to the current air hose.

I'm using a Sila chuck on my Medai now, but the barb is too large, and it split the rubber hose. I cut the end off the hose, put the chuck in as far as a could, and wrapped about 2 inches of the hose end with dental floss. It's been working fine for a year.
I also got a new piston with a rubber O ring from yellowjersey.org. That works fine as well, but I think I should have tried to make a leather replacement piston myself.
It's ironic that the best cheapest pump on the market is gone, and mostly everything available now is either junk or way expensive.

I also fit a Silca Presta-only chuck on my Medai until I could find a repalcement chuck insert. I replaced the OEM pressure hose with a length of 1/4" air hose I got from an auto parts shop. The Silca head fit fine and I clamped it in place with a stainless steel worm clamp. The pump end of the hose was slightly large but a tight clamp made it fit also.

this is another fine example of a peice of cyclig gear that was 'too good to keep producing' an occasional chuck and piston gasket and they last for years decades actually.
5 or 6 years ago I spotted one in box somewhere and practically lept over the counter for it. the clerk could not believe I wanted "this old peice of junk". I happily paid what he thought was $20 for it.
aside from a Silca pista this has to the be the best pump ever. I just wish I still had my original presta adapter.
