Compression O-Ring Snapped
Adjusting the stem height tonight and pulled out the (FSA Si) compression plug only to find the fantastic o-ring that hold the wedges on snapped.
New compression plug? (hey, there are lighter ones, I know) Go to LBS and see if they've got a spare o-ring? Go find a makeshift band? Pull out the roll of tape?

The O-ring isn't functional in use. It's only a convenience to hold the 3 segments together until the plug is in place. You can carefully hold it together and feed it into the fork with the upper and lower cones assembled. Or go to the hardware store and buy an O-ring, or rubber band that fits. (if you know an orthodontist, they have plenty of small rubber bands that might fit).
It's no big deal, so just go ahead and improvise.
