Bottom bracket missing a piece?

A few years ago I bought a Raleigh MTB and immediately replaced the cranks/BB. I have the old cranks and BB, but I'm not sure if I'm missing a piece. Having never replaced a BB myself, I have studied this forum but cannot determine if what I have is complete.

This is exactly what I have, but it seems that once I get it threaded into the shell, the opposite side (left) would need a cup to thread in to secure it. This product (above) and my unused BB do not seem to have this. I have an old Truvativ Powerspline that does have the cup, but I don't want to use that crankset.

Am I missing something?

The left (non drive side) cup is a mild press fit onto the left side of the cartridge. You just pull it off by hand, thread the drive side cartridge in place and then thread the now separate non-drive side cup in place.

Yup, was just pressed in there very tightly. Just discovered these NOS parts in the garage the other day, and now I'm committed to building a bike from the BB up. Thanks for the answer to a stupid question :D

They can be pretty snug. And no, the question wasn't stupid. The only stupid questions are the ones asked too late. :)
