Flight Deck ********************
No sure if this is the right forum or not but,
Had a new Flight Deck installed and seems to be working fine.
My question is: The instructions and adverstising seem to imply that when the stopwatch function is activated not only does the stopwatch begin keeping time but it also begin keeping the dist, ave speed., etc. for the time period the stopwatch is running. Once I start the stopwatch I can't seem to find where the caluculatiions are that are being performed during the stopwatch activation. The STW light blinks whle you pass through the different modes but the figures showing for the dist, ave speed, etc seem to remain those for the cumulative ride.
so . . . . . .
Is the stopwatch JUST a stopwatch or am I missing where or how to find the measurements that are determined during the stopwatch function?
Thanks much!

As I understand it the stopwatch is just a stopwatch ... it allows you to time laps, intervals and what have ya. It has no effect on the speed, mph, cadence, etc.

When the stop watch is running three things happen. I'm doing this from the office so the exact function list might be slightly off.
1. The over all numbers are still recorded for distance, time, average, and max.
2. The following numbers are recorded during the stopwatch running time: time, average, and max.
3. The display will cycle through the stop watch numbers and won't show the over all numbers until the stop watch is stopped and/or cleared.
It is important to note that I don't believe the stop watch function records distance so if you're riding about the same, the stop watch display for average, and max will probably look about like that for the overall ride.

Ok here goes - go to running time ( it´s just after the clock ), press the button nearest the wheel or the right side depending on year . this should cause something to flash at the top of the screen - when it´s flashing the timer will count when the wheel turns , when it does not it wont - zero by pressing both buttons at the same time .
Go to stop watch and it will cycle through and give independent figures to the overall but only in stopwatch mode - you can´t swap about too much .
