front fork assembly
I have a 2000 devinci monaco. I am miles from any known bike shop, and I've noticed my front wheel fork has become very loose. I can't find any bolt or mechanism that would hold or tighten the bearings. The bike was shipped to my starting point, and I'm suspicious the bolt was lost. The only thing holding the fork is the handlebar clamp. Can anyone tell me if the bolt is tightened from the top or bottom? I see a threaded friction nut about 1/3 the way inside the fork tube from the top.
