Thule ridgeline 4 bike hitch mount question
 

I just put on my ridgeline 4 bike holder onto my hitch and there is no side to side movement. i do however have a slight (1/4-1/2 inch) play near the bottom by the pin that allows for forward and back movement. Is this normal? Please let me know your thoughts. I would have thought at first blush that there should be no movement side to side along with forward and back??
