Clicking sound in rear wheel
About three weeks ago, I got a new rear cassette and new tire put on my bike. Ever since, there has been this strange clicking sound whenever I ride it. I've determined that it is coming from the rear wheel, specifically from around where the air valve is. Everytime it goes around, it clicks (I speed up, it gets faster, I slow down, it gets slower). It only happens when I am on it, and it is always there (not just when I am pedaling).
Anyone have any thoughts? I've talked with a few of my more bike savy friends, and we tried tightening/loosening the spokes aroung it, etc. Through that, we determined that it is coming from a spoke in particular (the fourth from the valve to be precise), but I have no clue what it could be! Thankfully there's nothing really wrong with the bike, but I commute with it every day and would love if the clicking went away.
Thanks,
Kevin

Try tightening the cassette. Other than that I'd say loose spoke but you've already checked.

Noises can be a real pain to locate. Have a look at your rim to see if the join spot is off a bit. Here is a link that might give you more info on noises.

Lube them nipples!
I recall reading a similar post somewhere. The clicking sound was driving some guy bonkers...tried everything.
Someone suggested a drop of thin oil, like 3 in 1 or something on each nipple where the spoke threads in. Clicks went away immediately. Only a small drop per nipple applied with a toothpick and BE SURE TO WIPE OFF ANY EXCESS!! Oil on the brake surfaces might be a problem.
Apparently there is some flexing between the M&F threads that causes the noise and a little lubricant solves the problem.
I think a follow on comment suggested taking the tire off and lubing from the inside, but if you are careful about clean up there shouldn't be any problems.
