Replacement cog for Shimano Cassette?
I have a Shimano CS-HG30-81 cassette.
The high gear 11 tooth cog is worn and causes the chain to jump when under load.
Does anyone know where I can buy this cog alone, as the rest of the cassette is fine?
It would need to be an on-line store, as I live in Thailand.
Regards,
Roger

Generally Shimano does not sell individual cogs. You will have to either live with it or get a new cassette.

Not true at all. Shimano sells individual cogs, as does Miche.

As well as a ton of other shops, use google.
But, seeing you can get an entire HG-30 CS for under $10, why bother? https://www.ebikestop.com/shimano_hg3...tte-FW8485.php

I suspect that certain suppliers or dealers have collected individual cogs that have come from various (secretive?) sources. Several times I've purchased individual 9-speed Shimano cogs from Harris Cyclery (Sheldon Brown) and in some cases Sheldon told me that he could not guarantee that the cog was Ultegra or even 9-speed but that it would work. In one case I had to grind down a built-in spacer on a first position 13 to make it 9-speed spacing.

QBP actually lists a few individual cogs, but only a few.
You could try the listed part number, see here, but you'd have to go through a Shimano dealer and would likely find that it is unavailable.
Spend the $10.

Shimano used to make individual cogs available for sale to distributors. Don't know if that's still the case, but I'm sure some stores and distributors would prefer to move complete cassettes rather than single cogs. More profit in it, waste be damned.
