Sora triple front, chain started rubbing the cage on big front/small rear, and big front/second smallest rear, and third smallest, and fourth smallest. Had to go all the way up to the 5th rear to get rid of the rub. And the same with the middle ring. It was OK just a few days ago. WTF?

It turns out that I was unknowingly adjusting cable tension via the barrel adjuster. Doh!

Chain angle is OK, but FD is too high. Currently shifts perfectly on the repair stand. I'll see how it is when riding, and make small, incremental changes.

Still a NOOB, but getting better ...

Hey, you learned from your mistake and no bicycles were harmed in the doing of said mistake. No harm, no foul. And now you're geared up to progress on to bigger and better mistakes in the name of learning.... :D
