Fitting bar ends
Hi
I've bought a set of Dia-Compe Bar End friction shifters and I've had a look at how to fit them but don't really have a clue. There also doesn't seem to be much info about fitting them for what I've looked. I'm putting drop bars on my Trek T30 hybrid bike.
It's probably a much to ask but could someone explain how to fit them? I would like to go to the local bike shop but don't have the money for it.
Ta,
Greg

which dia-compe bar ends are they? the silvers? If so, they are similar to shimano barends. Remove the shifter to access the expander hex bolt. This is left hand threaded so you will have to loosen by turning clockwise. Have a look at the shimano tech documents or better yet..go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9P4Xu5tr2Q
