Lezyne mini leaking
I know I can be slow at times, but I just bought the Lezyne pressure drive mini and it leaks like crazy. What am i doing wrong? Please help.

The leak is coming out where the end of the hose threads onto the valve. It appears that the seal is not tight enough around the valve. I tried screwing it on until I thought it would tighten (which it doesn't) and then just until it went past the threads where the valve cap goes.

I had the same problem when I first got the pump. Screw it on further. It goes in quite a bit more than you'd think at first. Once it is screwed on properly, the seal is perfect.

There are only a few threads that it can screw onto. These are the same threads that are for the cap. After about 3 or 4 turns the end doesn't "grab" onto anything and air can escape around the valve stem.

At least on the Presta side, you should be able to screw it in further. The hose threads should cover the beginning of the valve threads (the part onto which you screw the nut).
Are you sure that you're screwing it on straight? Or maybe your valve is bent or otherwise incompatible? Can you try another valve?

Yeah, tried two other tubes and managed to force it on but could not do it when the tube is on the wheel (not enough leverage). Even had my wife try, who races, and she couldn't get it. Oh well, it's time to look at the Topeak. Thanks anyway for your help.

I have the same pump. The hose comes out of the fat end, and then screws into the other (skinnier) end. The hose has two different ends, one for Presta and one for Schraeder, so it's reversible. On ONE end of the hose there is a rubber O-ring (actually 2 of them, one on either side of the knurled part you turn with your fingers). Make sure the O-ring is on the end of the hose that you are screwing into the pump. The outermost O-ring is the important one, the inner one is just for when you stow the hose back in the pump so it doesn't rattle loose. On my pump, the hose will turn about 3.5 rotations before the O-ring makes contact and it snugs up. If yours doesn't turn that much it may be that the threads are damaged.
