carbon frame worries?
should I be concerned with the tar and chip roads spraying off the tires and damaging the seat and down tube? I thought of taping the front of them. Is any of this a concern, your opion would be appreciated.

Think about it like this. What ever your tires are flinging off its not hitting your carbon weave. Like any other bike made out of steel or aluminum you'd be taking off the clear coat on top. IF your really worried about it I offer you the following options..
1)Don't worry
2)Get fenders
3)Get a handy friend of yours to rattle can a think layer of clear coat on your bike
4)I met a guy who bought a ton of clear, extra large, chainstay stickers. He had the placed them in strategic locations all over his frame to protect the frame. I thought it looked silly but I didn't notice till he mentioned it.
