Butted Spokes - which size to reference on TM-1 tension chart (2.0 or 1.7) ?
For a double butted spoke (2.0mm/1.7mm), which diameter do I use to reference the Park TM-1 chart to determine which deflection value I need to aim for?
Thanks,

As was explained to me in a thread around here the spoke size is only a consideration due to the diameter of the spokes and how they fit between the three anvils of the meter. So that is why you need the whole meter to fit down on the butted area.
