After putting some new treads on my tyres I now have chronic disc rub after putting the wheel back on the frame.

I am running juicy threes and it looks a little like the caliper is not retreating back into its setting although it does move but only a little. Should the caliper go right back flat or does it always sit out a little?

I have tried to set the brake by moving the pads back with a screwdriver and then loosening the bolts, pumping the lever. then aggresively spinning the wheel and getting force and then tightening but it makes very little difference at all.

Is there another tip to make my Juicys work again?

Hi, do the screwdriver again, loosen the brake and wiggle it around to loosen it up. Make sure the wheel is all the way into the dropouts. Then apply the brake lever and tighten the brake mount so the brake centers to the rotor, that's my fix but sometimes I do it more than once to get it right. good luck

Yeah I have done it atleast ten times but its getting me nowhere. I thought i had it good last night and the wheel was atleast semi free spinning but if I clamp on the breaks its a real thud.... sounds like the disc is getting thud and may bend or something.
Tempted to take into LBS but its a public holiday here in Sydney
