Replacing Electra Townie 7D Skewers

Hello. I'm pretty much a bike n00b. I decided that along with getting a good couple of locks that I wanted to exchange the wheel and seatpost skewers on my Electra Townie 7D with the Zefal Lock n'Roll skewers. I live on a college campus and wouldn't be surprised at any drunken crimes of opportunity such as stealing a bike seat.

I did a google search and found some basic instructions on how to change them out. However, just looking at the skewers I'm not so sure that they will fit correctly. Are the Zefal Lock n'Roll skewers designed for a particular type/style of bike or are skewers universal?

Thanks in advance.

The wheel skewers will fit your bike. can you provide a photo of your seatpost clamp with and without the origional skewer in place?
