Can anyone recommend a good bike stand that can be folded away when not in use, and clamp assembly can rotate. I am looking to spend around 100 or less.

I have had a Park home stand (earlier model) for about 15 years and it has been great.

I did a quick search and found some off brands that are a lot cheaper, but don't know how nice they would be to use or how long they would last. Here is an example of one of those:

i recommend the stands from feedback sports (formerly Ultimate). They are easy to use, stable, and fold up for storage. Been using a pro-elite model for a few years now and have never had any issues with it.

I've bought cheap stuff before and it's just junk. I ended up making my own. If I can do it again, I'd buy a Park. The entry level PCS-9 is around $110 shipped from Amazon.

I have the Park PCS-9, and am generally happy with it, except for one thing; The clamp occasionally gets stuck in one position, so I have to give it a hella-big whack to loosen it up to rotate it for another bike.

Spin Doctor Pro G3 for about $150 with a discount. Very sturdy, sure footed, and the arm rotates 360 degrees. This was recommended to me by a bike mechanic. What more can you ask for?

Hmm thanks. Looks like it's either PCS-9 or next price point ~170 for either Feedback or Spin Doctor. With spin doctor can the clamp be rotated so it can be secured to the seatpost?

It can be rotated 360 degrees and has teeth to lock it down securely so it won't slip. The base is huge so it will not tip over and can hold your bike high in the air so you need not bend over if desired.

I don't want to come across as bashing Park Tools because I genuinely like their products and their staff is awesome....but the reviews I read about the PCS-9 were not that great. Park makes other products in the stand category that do a better job and their are other companies with competing designs that offer good products that have received much better reviews than the PCS-9.

Ideally you will have your stand for a very long time. This is something you don't want to mess around dumping money into every year. A lousy stand can be frustrating to use which can lead to problems when making repairs. In this case it may be well worth the investment for spending a few extra dollars upfront.

I dont recommend the pcs-9. The stand itself is fine but if you're looking for something easy to break down and store away, this is not the stand for you. go with the pcs-10 or save a little a more for the feedback (pro-classic, pro-elite, pro-ultralight, sport mechanic). what do they say: buy once, cry once.

Just in case, something to think about, what if the bike has all the tubing and the seatpost shaped aero and overzize weird shaped tubes like some bmc and TT bikes? U can not use the pcs-9 or anything that holds the bike from the seat post at all.

Another +1 for the Feedback Sport Mechanic repair stand
Just bought mine yesterday and worked on my Fuji Touring all day and the stand was the best investment I have made in a long time glad I finally bought this stand I do most of my own work.
Bought it at Campmor here in New Jersey and at a good price for $144.44 with tax.

My wife bought a work stand for me for my last birthday. I'd been wanting one for a long time and had done a ton of research. It all led me to wanting the Park PCS-10 but I kept wondering if one of the lesser stands would be good enough. I am so glad I held out for the PCS-10. It is awesome! Folds away easily; very sturdy when set up; adjustable height; clamp spins a full 360 degrees and locks securely in place; and adjustable lever clamp to lock bike in place. It can be had at Bike Island for $135 with free shipping. (My wife used the Bike Island price to get a price match at Performance Bike Shop)
