to anyone who has/does use the muc off after wash spray, is there any easier way to use it? I have used it on all four of my bikes after washing them today, it says on the tin to avoid getting it on the wheel rims or brake pads, I found the best way to do this and make sure the bike still got a good coating is to take the wheels off and cover the brake pads with an old rag. this seems to be a lot of hassle, as does wiping it off afterwards which is something I can't understand. I have also used the GT85 spray too which says, for best results, do not wipe away. so why do you have to wipe the bike spray off instead of letting it dry? it would make more sense to leave it to dry.
is there anyway you can spray it on to a rag and wipe it on the bike? or is there anything similar you can use that you do wipe on instead of spraying on and still do the same job?

i wash my bike then rinse it with clean water and wipe most of the water. After that, it air dries and I lube the chain, cassette and derailleurs. Never used any "after wash" stuff except on my car, which I occasionally wax.

A LITTLE bit of car wax on a rag can be wiped on your bike tubes and stays, then polished off.

This muc off and GT85 spray sound like scam. Do they really do what they claim for your bike?

after using several muc off products, I can honestly say that there are some I will be buying again and some I won't.
the pink cleaner isn't very good, you hose the bike down first, spray it on, leave for 5 mins and then rinse off. I prefer something you can put in hot water and wash using a sponge or brush. hot water is much better at removing dirt and grime than cold water, even cold water under pressure.
the after wash spray has PTFE in it, which leaves a none sticky coating on the bike to stop dirt, grime and dust sticking to it and to make it easier to was next time. this seems to work well, but you have to be careful not to get it on your wheel rims, brake pads or disks otherwise your brakes are useless. I take my wheels off and use a rag to cover the brake pads. after you have sprayed it on you wipe any excess away with a rag. too much messing about if you ask me.
the chain degreaser works great, again you spray it on and leave it for 5 mins and then it just washes off with water, unlike other degreasers it doesn't leave stains from whatever has come off your chain all over your bike.
as for the GT85, I was a little confused as to exactly what that was supposed to be. it's supposed to be a lubricant for moving parts which leaves a protective coating on moving parts, it also contains PTFE but unlike the bike spray, you don't wipe it off, you leave it to dry.
I was a bit shocked when I sprayed it on my rear cassette and it stripped a load of muck off leaving gleaming rear cogs (this was before I had used a chain degreaser) I thought it was supposed to be a lubricant not a cleaner or degreaser.
it does work very well on lubricating things like the front and rear mech, the brake leavers and gear shifters and suspension springs too.
I also have the muc off 5 piece brush set which is very good.

so in conclusion, I would recommend the chain cleaner, the after wash spray (if you have the time) the cleaning brushes and the GT85.
the cleaner isn't really that good.

I know this is just my oppinion, I hope it helps anyway.
