Tools needed to change a cassette

Does anybody know what tools are needed to change a SRAM R9 cassette for
an Ultegra HG9 ???

HG lockring tool, big wrench to fit lockring tool and chain whip. SRAM uses HG tool for lockrings.

Why are you replacing a lighter cassette with a heavier one?
