xtr chain direction
 

hi, i just got my bike outfitted with the 2011 xtr grouppo. but i noticed something odd. i read that the 2011 10 speed grouppo chains are direction specific.
for the xtr i noticed that one side of the chain has text while the other is blank.
therefore the question is this. should the text side be facing in (facing the BB side) or facing out cacing the pedal side? from the maunaos and some reviews i get the impression that it should be facing out, but my bike mechanic insisted that it should be facing in.

so who is right?

Of course. The whole point of buying XTR is so you can have stuff on your bike that says XTR. You wouldn't do very well hiding it with the text facing inward. :)
