SRAM Apex Shifter: how to change routing from one slot to the other?
 

Hi, I just got a new set of handlebars where the cable grooves on the bottom. My previous setup had the grooves on the front and back and the cables were slotted accordingly on the shifter. How do I go about routing the cable to exit the other way so both the brake and shifter cable exit the same side?
Also, is there a trick to pulling off the hoods while the shifters are still attached to the bars? Or do I need to take them off first to pull them off?

roll the hoods back and you will see. you will need to remove the grip tape

i've already removed the tape and pulled the hoods. should I use force to remove the cables from the slot?

disconnect the cable from the derailleur or frame housing stops

which way would be the easiest and fastest way without any readjustment to be done?
