Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

Yes, they will. In fact, I have used Shimano barends like these for a triple crank so you should be fine.

Yes they will work just fine they come on the Surly LHT but are the 9 speed one they make.But I took they off and went with down tube shifters and never look back. :-)

bar cons for the FD don't have any indexing.

+1 Correct, none of them index. I thought the OP was asking if they had enough cable pull to cover the width of a triple crank and, yes they do.

Sorry to disagree, but those bar end shifters will work perfectly with a triple front derailleur. There will be no problem whatsoever.

Have those exact shifters pulling a triple on two bikes in my fleet. So Yes, they work wonderfully.
