computer - control buttons
 
Hi: I'm changing my bike over to Sram from Shimano. Over the years, I've really come to like the Shimano Flight Deck computers. Mostly because I really like the button controls on the hoods.

I don't want to debate whether I'm a dweeb for liking this, I do and that's where I'm coming from.

Are there any computers that somehow have buttons that can be mounted somewhere so I don't ahve to touch the computer head to scroll through functions etc?

thanks for the pointer. This is indeed what I'm looking for. Unfortunately, it looks like it doesn't work with the Strada Double Wireless, but with a previous model line which cost about twice as much (CD300DW & HR200DW)
