SRAM X.7 shifters to replace old Suntour shifters?
Hi there,
I have an older Schwinn steel MTB (7 speed cassette) that has a frozen up front shifter. The shifters and derailleurs are all made by Suntour. I'd like to replace the shifters with some SRAM X.7 shifters. Will this work?
Thanks,
Bob

Probably not, the Sram shifters are made to work with a 1:1 actuation ratio derailer, which is probably not what the suntour derailer is using.
