2011 specialized crank set issue
Hey everyone,
I bought a 2011 specialized tarmac sl3 s-works about 2 month ago. That bike came with the specialized fact carbon crank set. I have been having an issue that the chain fall to the out side of the crank when I get up and sprint or just accelerate quickly. I want to know if anyone out there is having this same issue with the specialized crank set.
If you could post your comments I will greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Sounds like an issue with the front derailleur adjustment, not the crank set. High limit screw needs a turn.

Have you taken the bike in for an initial service yet? If you only bought it two months ago, then the shop you bought it from should sort this sort of thing out for free.
If you want to tackle it yourself, then the FD position and angle is certainly the first thing to look at.

It is not the front derailleur. I already taken it to the shop several times and it is at the lowest point that it could be. I have heard that specialized cranks have been having this issue because the chain ring flex when you put to a lot of force into the pedal stoke.
I just want to see if other people are having the same issue.
Thanks for all the responds.
