Yokozuna Reacton Brake Cables/Dura Ace 7900 Fit Issue
I'm building up a bike with Yokozuna Reaction cables, and am having trouble getting the housing into the barrel adjuster. It definitely won't fit with the ferrules that were provided, but I'm having trouble even getting the housing by itself into the adjuster.
Anyone else have this issue, and how did you solve it?

FWIW I have that same set installed perfectly on a Cervelo S2.

Guys,
Got the job done, just saw all the input. Thanks for the replies. For the record, yes, I am using the Shimano/SRAM version of the cables.
I have installed Yokozuna on 7900 before, and didn't remember these issues. Here is what I've found:
1) Last install was using white instead of black. The white brake housings seem to be just a little smaller, assumably due to the casing.
2) I didn't use the ferrules, this time or last time, as the step down ferrule will not fit into 7900 barrel adjusters.
3) I ended up using a tiny bit of grease on the outside of the cable housing where it enters the barrel adjuster. Worked fine.
FWIW to anyone reading, I had much better luck cutting the brake housings to size with a Park cable cutter than a Dremel tool. YMMV.

1) Didn't know there was white yokozuna, awesome
2) Same on my setup, 7900 calipers don't require ferrules for any brake housing
I found the brake housing VERY sensitive to the correct length +/- 1mm on my particular frame because it's ridiculously stiff.

Ditto on the brake housing stiffness. I will adjust everything up today or tomorrow, so I think that I've left enough housing for the rear brake...the cable is just coming into contact with the head tube, but isn't pulling out of the frame stop. I will report back/post pics when done.
