Simplex jockey wheels

I have a criterium with nubs for teeth. Recently I found a sx410 with decent wheels on it. Any problem with switching over the wheels? Did they use the same size wheels in all their rdr's? Any difference in the upper and lower wheel-position specific?
Thanks for any advice in advance.

Shouldn't be a problem. Friction derailleurs aren't particularly fussy about their pulleys.

Bikes: too many bikes from 1967 10s (5x2)Frejus to a Sumitomo Ti/Chorus aluminum 10s (10x2), plus one non-susp mtn bike I use as my commuter

+1, with friction RDs the only considerations when replacing a pair of idlers is bolt hole size (usually 5mm, but not always) and width. The width is less critical when replacing the pair, but changing it may require longer or shorter pulley bolts.
